And if we wait even longer, almost 1 million workers could be in danger of losing their jobs over the next year.President Barack Obama • Speaking in his weekly radio address about the importance of passing the Surface Transportation Bill — a bill that funds the construction of highways, bridges and so on — before the end of the month. If not, he claims it could cost thousands of jobs, if not more. The AFL-CIO and Chamber of Commerce —a.k.a. unions and big businesses — both support the bill. “I have gotten from friends all over the country copies of the picture that was this iconic picture taken in the Situation Room while we were watching the operation. And they have been photoshopped in every way you can imagine, including putting you know, coming after the royal wedding, one of these had all of us in one of these big, wide-brimmed hats from the wedding,” said Defense Secretary Robert Gates, noting the potential for manipulation and misuse if the U.S. were to release the photos of bin Laden’s corpse.

He’s waited his entire life to exercise his otherwise useless superpower — but it was worth it.
